Engagement

For decades, the Würth Group and the Würth Foundation have been committed to the common good and a sustainable society, both nationally and internationally, with dedication to art, culture, social issues, education, research and sport.

SOCIETY

The Würth Group and the Würth Foundation assume responsibility for society in many ways and contribute, through both small and large initiatives, to a future worth living in.

Würth Foundation

The Würth Foundation was established in 1987 by Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold and Carmen Würth. Based in Künzelsau, the foundation pursues charitable purposes and supports projects in the fields of art and culture, education and training, as well as research and science.

Hotel Anne-Sophie

WÜRTH BELIEVES IN PEOPLE, AND THAT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING

Among other initiatives, Carmen Würth founded Hotel-Restaurant Anne-Sophie in 2003. Hotel Anne-Sophie is a meeting place where people with and without disabilities work hand in hand. Guests can enjoy modern comfort in historic buildings. With 54 rooms, a library, a fitness and wellness area, and a cosy bar, the hotel invites guests to linger. The offering is complemented by two restaurants, meeting rooms, a shop and a patisserie. Both the rooms and the public areas are wheelchair accessible.

ART AND CULTURE

Art and culture are an integral part of Würth. Their strong presence and diverse activities are an expression of our corporate culture. At the heart of this is the Würth Collection, which Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold Würth has been building since the 1970s. The Würth Collection includes works from the late Middle Ages to modern and contemporary times, especially paintings and sculptures. It is one of the most important private art collections in Europe.

The collection of Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold Würth encompasses around 500 years of art history, with works from the late Middle Ages to the beginning of the 21st century. From South German Renaissance portraits and courtly splendour to works by Anselm Kiefer, Max Ernst, Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
