Code of compliance
Mutual trust, reliability and sincerity, both internally and externally, are the deeply rooted basic principles of the Würth Group’s corporate culture. Our commitment to these values was first set out in the corporate philosophy written by Reinhold Würth in the 1970s.
These principles not only include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, but also the right mindset of employees, which is an important aspect of the Würth Group’s continued success.
Our goal is to promote this mindset, one that also ensures that our employees strictly comply with all applicable national and international rules and regulations. In order to make these principles more transparent for our employees, customers, suppliers and other business partners, we have drawn up a number of practical rules of conduct. These are based on the corporate values summarised in the Würth Group’s compliance rules.
Reporting system within the Group
Our compliance rules reflect our commitment to treating one another, as well as our customers, suppliers and other business partners, with integrity. Experience has shown that reports received from third parties have repeatedly helped to solve cases of economic crime. For this reason, we have developed a system that enables both Würth Group employees and third parties to report criminal acts and other serious violations. This internet-based application is called SpeakUp and is based on the BKMS system (Business Keeper Monitoring System).
Anyone wishing to report an incident via this system may do so anonymously or by stating their name. However, as we want to create an environment of open communication, we would nevertheless like to encourage you to state your name when submitting a report. All personal information is treated in strict confidence, and we take into account the legitimate interests of all parties involved.
We kindly ask you to create an account via our SpeakUp system so that we can contact you through this channel. This is important in case we have follow-up questions, or if you yourself wish to add information to your report at a later stage. Communication via the account can also remain anonymous, if desired.
The system is intended exclusively for reporting suspected cases of economic crime or serious violations within the Würth Group. Misuse of this system for other purposes may be punishable by law.
