The recovery of air conditioning gas (F-gases) is subject to European legislation. In the automotive sector, the ‘recovery’ of air conditioning gas plays a particularly important role, whereby Directive 2006/40/EC states that technicians must possess the appropriate qualifications. The supplier of air conditioning gas must in turn archive this information and update it on a regular basis.
