Flex income plan
Through the Flex Income Plan, our employees have the opportunity to use part of their year-end bonus according to their own preferences. They can use their budget for various benefits, such as a mobile phone, a leased bicycle, extra vacation days, a contribution to hospitalisation insurance, reimbursement of a sports subscription, and much more.
Remote working
Our employees have the opportunity to work remotely a few days per week. In this way, we maintain optimum productivity as well as collegiality. At the same time, we reduce our CO2 emissions because we need to commute to and from work fewer days per week.
Office plants
Our office in Turnhout is richly decorated with office plants. Research shows that plants improve air quality and thereby increase the productivity of our employees by 15%.
Ergonomics – adjustable desks
We invested in new desks for our employees. These new adjustable desks can be raised and lowered, giving employees the opportunity to work while standing. This alternation between standing and sitting has a positive effect on the productivity of our employees and helps prevent complaints such as neck and back pain.
Solar panels
Did you know … that we have installed 978 solar panels on the roof of our head office? Covering an area of 1,615 square metres and with an expected annual production of 268,000 kWh, the solar installation will enable our company to reduce its consumption and energy bill. Thanks to this installation, 50 tonnes less CO2 are also emitted each year.

Together for sustainable and safe driving behaviour
As a company, we strive to act as sustainably and as safely as possible and attach great importance to reducing our ecological footprint wherever we can. In this way, we can help create a livable world, not only today but also for the future.
Our account managers travel from customer to customer every day. Thanks to our collaboration with Drivolution, our employees can consult their monthly driver report. This report tracks, among other things, monthly consumption and shows how many kilometres are driven on average. In this way, awareness of sustainable and safe driving behaviour is encouraged and we contribute to the ecological future.
Electric company vehicles
The world is increasingly relying on electric mobility, and Würth Belux is also continuing to work towards a sustainable future!
Current legislation states that from 2025 onwards, combustion engines will be penalised exponentially from a tax perspective. That is why we are gradually switching to hybrid and electric company vehicles. We have already invested in four new electric charging stations, powered by electricity generated by our solar panels.
